Week 25

Kia ora everyone!!

This week was a pretty long week not gonna lie haha. We had some rough days and sorry but this email will be short.

Tuesday was great we had zone conference and we got to see some fellow missionaries it was way fun. We talked heaps about all the changes coming to the mission field. It's been crazy the church is going 100 mph while the rest of us are like snails haha. But Tuesday was way fun.

Wednesday is when it all went downhill. Our new investigator Joshua had a lesson set for that day and when we get there he informs us that he got a new job in a different area. So he will be moving to a different ward in the stake. Not sure where he is going cause he didn't know the address and now we cant get ahold of him.. hopefully he will text us so we can send new missionaries to him. So we said our last prayer with him and said goodbye and took some selfies haha. It was really disappointing cause we spent that whole day tracting and getting hard rejections just looking forward to a great lesson with Joshua and then with that sad news it made our day even worse haha.

Thursday we did heaps of the same. We were doing some daily contact with Erica and she said that she wanted to move her baptismal date to march 16th and that was really sad cause transfers are coming up and I really feel like I'm getting moved now Haha 6 months in 1 area is ages haha. So now she will be getting baptized when I'm not here but I will try to come back for it. We will see. She is progressing very well though so I cant complain haha.

Friday and Saturday we just did heaps of tracting and member visits. President Walker was informed that member visits and getting referrals is 10x better than tracting all day so he wants us to focus a little more on member visits. But that doesnt mean we get to stop door knocking and talking to people in the streets haha.

Sunday was stake conference. It was very missionary themed and a few recent converts gave talked including our recent convert Selena. It was really good! She did amazing.

Pretty hard week but I can still see some blessings in the work so God is noticing our struggles haha.

I hope you all have a great week.

Ofa atu!

Love,
Elder Wilding
