Week 50
Kia Ora!
This week was absolutely crazy.. We had transfers and man was that crazy. Since our zone only has one car we had to do so much driving around picking up luggage and moving people. It is so fun but stressful haha.
Well I will start out with Wednesday. So yea we had transfers and we thought we had everything planned out pretty well but yea nah.. Plans got all messed up and we did heaps more running around than we planned. We ended up leaving luggage that we didn't know we had to take care of and missionaries left some stuff places that we had to go and get it and what not so yea heaps of good Ole stress and fun haha
Oh and I got "transfered". I'm now in a tongan ward along with the ward I was already in, Otahuhu Ward. So we double cover and we are both white kids from Idaho and Utah....That speak little to no Tongan๐๐ so this is gonna be fun!
Thursday we had more stuff to plan for and get sorted out so yea we didn't really get much done other than that. We helped everyone in the zone get more settled in and making life easier for them haha. That's basically how this whole week went so yea actually nothing else to really say๐
๐๐
Sunday we had a massive feed by a Tongan family. As you can guess they said to keep eating after 15 minutes of being full๐ I felt like I was gonna die... It was great!๐ Later that day we had a Come and See Fireside and got to listen to amazing songs and testimonies of recent converts. We than got to listen to President Walker bare his testimony and man it was so powerful and if the people their didn't feel the spirit and want to get baptized than I don't know how they could ever feel the spirit๐ it was amazing. I wish I could put it into words.
This week has been very busy with other stuff so hopefully after all of that it'll settle down and we can get back to it! I hope you all had a great week. Now with all the Tongans I'm gonna be around I'm gonna be fluent๐

Week 49
Kia Ora!
This week has been very busy! We had quite a bit going on. It's been exciting and man does time fly when you are just constantly doing stuff.
So on Wednesday we had another MTC Exchange and I was with Elder Bell from Colorado. He was called to serve in the New Zealand Wellington mission and he was really cool and a great Elder. We went around talking to people in the street and tried to visit some less actives and potentials. It was way fun and that whole group was so amazing.
Thursday we had meetings and what not and that took up most of the day. We did get out and do some TWE again and finally got to talk to heaps of people.
Friday we had weekly planning and some other planning for most of the day. We got ready to set up for a chalkboard activity and I've sent pictures of what it is.
So Saturday we had the chalkboard activity and with that we take off the badges and go by our first names! It is seriously so fun. We talk to so many people and talk about happiness, families, and so on. Go check out @thechalkboardactivityNZ on Facebook and you can see the rest of our mission doing this activity. It's been a huge blessing and we have actually had a baptism in the mission from it! It was so fun but so tiring๐ We then went to a baptism for someone that Elder Ward was teaching in his last area. It was as so cool and this Maori guy was there and I did the Hongi twice with him๐๐ pretty interesting baptism haha
That's pretty much the highlights for this week. We were really busy doing stuff like meetings, planning, setting stuff up, organizing other stuff and yea but it's been so good. I hope you all enjoyed your week.

Week 48
Kia Ora!
This week has been pretty good. I'm gonna have a shorter email this week. I'm just gonna share with yous miracle we were able to see from following the spirit.
Saturday we were out with the ward mission leader visiting less actives and the sad thing was we had two lessons for him to come with us and they both fell through so hence the reason to visit less actives. We visited 3 people and the first family we got to know them more and shared a short lesson on faith with them and they were super nice and keen to have us back another time so that was great.
The last family we visited was the best for sure. She said her whole life she always saw missionaries in her home and loved seeing them and then she got married to an RM who went less active and now she hasn't had missionaries over in ages. Well we went over and it was perfect cause she just had a really rough day and just felt like completely giving up on church and trying to help her husband. She was so happy to see us and loved the lesson we had with her on enduring to the end. She cried and said she would continue to do her best and go to church and asked the bishop to keep her in her calling at church. I was so glad that we went to see her and it was all because the spirit inspired the ward mission leader to go there and inspired us to share that message with her. Following the spirit is so key to seeing miracles and joy please follow every prompting you recieve and you will see so many blessings and bless others as well!
I hope you all had a great week! I love you all!

Week 47
Kia Ora!
This week has been a pretty good one for sure. We have been trying so hard to get stuff done and work hard but man does Satan just throw stuff right in the way. Even though we had some obstacles we were still able to see some progress for sure.
Tuesday we didn't have district council due to zone conference on Thursday so we went to go give a Sister a blessing who rolled her ankle pretty bad and is in a boot for a few weeks. We than had all our other morning stuff and after lunhh we went to the Chapel to wait for a lesson with a guy named Saint. While we were waiting we set up companionship for the next MTC Exchange on Wednesday. So we waited for a while and Saint didnt show up so we ended up leaving and doing a bit more planning for the exchange and than had a lesson later that day with a couple about prayer and praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It was pretty good. We hope to see them coming to church soon!
Wednesday we had the MTC Exchange and it ended up pretty good. There was some difficulties with the one missionary having a doctor appointment and us having to switch companions for a bit so I could go to the appointment with him and the others could work and what not so it was pretty hectic. Did heaps of street contacting though and found a few cool people to talk to.
Thursday we had zone conference and Elder Ward and I gave a training to the zone and we focused on the importance of following up with people and the commitments we leave them. Than President Walker gave an amazing training on Faith in Jesus Christ and helping missionaries have more and more motivation and desire to want to serve with all we have.
Friday we had weekly planning and everything was going great. We had things we wanted to do and plans for everyone and we got to it! We contacted quite a few people and we're heading back for some dinner and we had another episode of fighting with Elder Wards sick stomach. We are trying to figure out how much he can eat of what foods before he gets sick so trial and error is a big deal right now haha.
Saturday Elder Ward had to take two missionaries to the Mission Home for an interview with President Walker so I was left with two other missionaries to do some work. We did a little talking with people and the street and ate lunch and than the others got back so we got back to our area. We had a lesson with a guy that's from Pakistan and he's pretty cool. He's kinda hard to work with but we are doing our best teaching him about the Book of Mormon and inviting him to read and pray. So things look good for him.
Things have been going really good here and I'm excited for things moving forward. As always there are things popping up and disrupting the work but it will always move on! I hope you all have had a great week and are loving life!
